Summary of My Experience
There are a lot of trees I need to learn.
Friday 6/26/26
During the tour I felt highly connected to nature once again. Hearing the birds and bugs while feeling the breeze and sun nearly put one to sleep. It was also amazing to hear and see the history as well as the developed and undeveloped landscapes. I am highly interested in the wildlife aspects. Seeing the animals on the camara and the diversity in the region shows how all species are needed for survival. The rain was also a surprise that caught me off guard. The rain hopefully helped with the drought and gave life back to the land. Being out there gave me a feeling of gratefulness for our structures and safety from the elements.
Saturday 6/27/26
Woke up feeling good it was nice outside. The slides about macros were very cool because of the differences in body and sensitivity. Seeing the smaller life in the stream stresses the importance of these water bodies and why we need them. I collected some of our data and it began raining and storming. Being out there made me appreciate my home. Being outside here make me think about how cities and suburbs are so grey and don’t have as much greenery making the area dull.
