The Carolina Wildlands Foundation is committed to encouraging our budding field biologists to be more creative communicators, enabling them to tell the story of their research in ways that are compelling and impactful. In order to get accustomed to making a of narrative field observations we have our interns describe the experience they have on the Southern 8ths Field Station in long form written journals. These journals are intended to give a glimpse of the work being done and the students individual reactions to researching and exploring nature.
